Financial support from donors is essential to ensure the continuing work of re-forestation and environmental education.  The Kenyan Tree Project members give freely of their own time to work on gardening tasks, but fund-raising possibilities in Kenya are limited.  Although primary education is free in Kenya, parents are required to pay for nursery school places.  Nursery school teachers are also expected to fund their own training courses.

Your donations, large and small, will be gratefully received and put to very good use.

£50 will buy a new window for a classroom

£30 will buy exercise books for 1 nursery class for 12 months

£10 will buy a garden spade

£5 will buy 500g of tree seeds

£2 will provide a child with a nursery school place for 4 weeks

£1 will buy bags in which to plant 100 young trees
